This guideline is regards to when the child can return from an infectious standpoint.  It should be understood that we are not “clearing” them to return from a health standpoint.  Although very rare, children can develop post covid symptoms that could affect their ability to play sports and if there is any concern with your child returning to play, you should discuss this with your child’s physician prior to their return.

If your child has been diagnosed with covid then they could return 5 days after their positive covid test and must be symptom free for 24 hours.

It is also recommended that they wear a mask at all times and spend limited time in the locker room until 10 days after positive covid test.

Triboro is not requiring screening testing of close contacts this year and are recommending that if your child is sick then do not send him to the rink and we recommend testing him for covid.
