Cross-Ice 3 vs 3 / Mosquitoes

Triboro Youth Hockey is proud to announce the return of the Cross-Ice 3 vs 3 / Mosquito program.

TRY IT FREE FOR 4 WEEKS:  All skaters born 2009 - 20012 are invited to join us for a great Sunday morning tradition. The sessions start November 13, 2016 and are held each Sunday morning at 9 am at the Navin ice arena.

The cross-ice format is a chance for new and younger players to experience game situations. The smaller ice surface helps the players to develop their skills, gives them more opportunity to handle the puck, and to have tremendous fun playing the great game of hockey. This will also help our younger players who want to transition to the Mite level.  For this session, the ice will be divided into thirds, where two-thirds of the rink will be for games, and the middle third will be used for light instruction from the coaches. Each skater will receive a Triboro jersey. Full hockey equipment, including a certified helmet with full face shield is required.

Following the free 4-week session Triboro will also run two 8-week sessions at a cost of $125 per session.

The dates for the 3 sessions are as follows:

Session #1 - 11/13, 11/20, 11/27, 12/4 (FREE)

Session #2 - 12/11 12/18, 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12

Session #3 - 2/19, 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2, 4/9

**There are two items you need to complete in order for your child to participate. One is to register into the Triboro program; the other is to register with USA Hockey.  Please follow the steps below**

Step 1:
You can register your child for the Mosquito / Cross Ice program by going to out Registration page.

Step 2:
USA Hockey, as a governing body of the Triboro Youth Hockey Association, mandates that all skaters be registered with USA Hockey each year. This is primarily done for insurance purposes, as well as for ensuring that the proper coaches and instructors are USA Hockey-sanctioned. Once a skater is registered, USA Hockey issues an official USA Hockey registration number to the registrant.  This number is used for your skater.

Every skater participating in any Triboro Youth Hockey program needs a registration number.  This number is needed for each skater to be allowed on the ice.  There are NO exceptions.

There is a very simple process for you to get a registration number.  Once obtained, it needs to be sent (via email) to the Triboro Registrar for proper recording.  The registration process involves going to the USA Hockey registration site (www.usahockeyregistration.com), follow the registration process, obtain the number, and send it to the Registrar at  .

Please keep in mind you only need to get the USAH registration number ONCE. You can use this number for future Cross ice or LTS/LTP sessions throughout the season.
