Learn to Skate/Hockey Skating Clinic
Triboro Youth Hockey is proud to continue its Learn to Skate/Hockey Skating Clinic Programs at the Navin Rink in Marlborough.
The first session of Learn To Skate for the season will start Saturday September 29th, 2018, and will run each Saturday for 8 weeks, all starting at 8:30 AM. The cost is $150 for each 8 week session. There will also be a one-time fee for USA Hockey registration (fee applicable depending on age).
Triboro Youth Hockey has once again contracted with The John Dillon Power Skating School for a twelfth straight year to run its Learn to Skate/Hockey Skating program. "LTS" is designed for beginners and students that are looking to learn how to skate. This clinic teaches basic skating skills through a progression of ability levels from beginner to intermediate. John Dillon’s Instructors will split the ice up into 4-6 sections, evaluate students and place them in the appropriate group. Each level builds on what they have learned in the previous level.
What's needed for this session: skates, a helmet with a face mask, and hockey gloves (or mittens or gloves) to protect the hands are required; elbow pads and shin guards are recommended. All students will receive a Triboro hockey jersey and medal.
Here are the dates for the three sessions:
Session #1 - Sept 29, Oct 6, 20, 27, Nov 3, 10, 17.
Session #2 - Nov 24, Dec 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Jan 5, 12.
Session #3 - Jan 26, Feb 2, 9, 16, 23, Mar 2, 9, 16
